I was glad to see this thread and it is timely, I am almost at the 1-year mark from when we picked up our new Isata3FW. Purchased at CAN-AM RV in London Ontario and have been very happy with the Rig and the help/support from the owners and staff there. Have a few warranty/recall items that need be done but due to COVID issues and shutdowns they will have to wait.

I have made a few small to medium changes in and around the RV to suit us and planned to start thread to share but posting here works great for me. Hopefully I can learn from others and others can consider things I have changed

Will create a few replies to allow for images to load to each reply

1. Open stair well - We travel with a small dog and the open stair well concerned my better ¾’s so we place a piece of plywood over the opening when traveling and at a night so he or us do not miss step into the well. Plan to find a closer flooring to match and will correct that this summer.
2. Labeled the entry way switched as they are shadowed by the drop down counter and hard to see, this is not pretty but works for us.
3. Kitchen sink drain - After the drain pipe issues (see thread here and here.) found under the shower decided to replace the drain P trap under the kitchen sink to ease winterization and create more open storage
4. Curtain to separate cab from house – Installed curtain to create privacy and help stop the transfer of heat or cold from house to cab while camping. The curtain is easy to pull across the area so the when heating or cooling the house the cab does not need to be conditioned. Also creates privacy if we do not install the windshield cover.

5. Cupboard shelfing – found at kitchen and bath storage store, allows separation and access with out large pile
6. Dash monitor and TPMS mounting – the camera monitor was barely within reach and lower buttons covered by dash. The TPMS was installed with window suction unit and was not really reachable. I also wanted/needed place to install dashcam unit. Used old Tupperware bread container, modified and mounted to allow mounting of all devices, they are now reachable and secured. Also as suggested on the forum here by Battchief, loss of GPS signal could have been due to interference from monitor , I was having same issue so used copper foil and liquid vinyl to shield the back side of the monitor. No issues since so likely something to theory.

7. Installed the Progressive Industries EMS Hard-Wired unit in the cavity beside the bed and the remote display in the outside storage bay. Did not what portable unit as it saved one more thing on list for set up and tear down. Really think something like this could be factory installed or factory option? https://www.progressiveindustries.net/ems-hw50c
8. Down spout drips onto side mirrors issue, my solution is to install polar curtain during set up and then place in door pocket when we pull away. Saves the streaks and oily covered mirrors
9. Outdoor shower hose was a little short to use easily so used ½” nipple and second flex line to extend

10. Outside storage shelfing, passenger side storage unit is ideal for small items but installed shelfing to make it neater and ideal for shoes, hiking boots etc.
11. Installed Lippert components waste master hose and storage system. System meant for TT’s but wanted to install on this class C for reasons listed on many YouTubers sites. Used aircraft cable to install box so it has some free play to move/lift/shift as needed due to limited clearance. Has not been an issue but better safe than sorry. Hose and storage have been great, quick, clean, easy, no mess.

Side note - Used installed hose storage for blocks to place under leveling jacks, first block in has nylon strap and that is used to pull blocks out as needed.

12. ABCO valve assist – the valve has been sticky and can be hard to reach with slide out or storage bay full so used piece of ABS pipe and some tape to ease rotation of valve when needed.

container store

After seeing your projects I have ordered from the custom drawer solution from the container store. Thanks all for the tip. BTW my RB is a little different, door is in the back. Looks like some of the cabinets are a little different. Hope I don't go broke from all this free time.

The door handle would catch my belt loop coming out of the bathroom from time to time so I reshaped the corner of the mattress so the door opens a little farther.

If you cut the door in half (like Joey did on ‘Friends’) just above the mattress, you’d be able to open the doorway completely, and never snag your belt loop on the door handle again.

Just sayin’.

Been looking for a something similar to the rack and basket system you installed. That is very well fitted for the space. Do you recall where you sourced that from?

I bought a piece of LED light strip from our local lighting store. They have it on a roll and can cut it to whatever length you want. I have seen it since on Amazon. It is wired into the 3-way entry light switch. The foil and masking tape in the photo was a prototype fix to reflect light to the top side of the hour meter.

Thanks chroniedon. DW is usually the one to operate the switches. But she can't see the switch names and has to sit down on the steps with a flash light to make sure she hits the right one. So she's really excited about having some light on them.
