Isata 3 Questions

My wife and I have narrowed our search to the isata 3, and we have read a number of posts on this forum. The prompt and helpful replies from the Dynamax GM is one reason for our choice, aside from the fact that the features of this vehicle seem to exceed those of any other using the Sprinter platform. Our questions: (1) We read an article dated May 3, 2016, which stated that the European Sprinter had received a 990 pound GVW increase, and that MB was considering this change for the U.S. Market. Since it has been over a year, is there any update on this change which would seem to be a game-changer for all who use this platform? Also, if such a change were implemented here, how quickly would isata 3s be released with the increased weight capacity? (2) Is the all-silver, one color exterior paint option still available, and if so, is it any less costly since it is a single color? Thanks,

It's the weekend right now, but I'll bet Mr. bclemens will be back atcha tomorrow to answer alllllll your questions. He's going to become your new best friend....I can almost guarantee it.

1. The US has not adopted the increased GVWR. Also, when I asked the Sprinter sale rep about it he said it came with a caveat. To get that increase GVWR its came with no towing. So mainly geared towards service/delivery vans, not RVers. Take that with a grain of salt, but that's what I know so far.

2. The silver color is still available...really its more of customer color as we have matched various tow vehicles in single color. Same price as the mask due to being custom.
