Isata 3 Toad Setup

I bought a 2014 Honda CRV to pull behind my Isata 3. Just wondering what tow and brake gear others have used. I was planning on using dedicated LED bulbs and not tie into the Honda wiring. I was also planning a charge line to keep the battery up as you must leave the Honda on Acc mode to tow (and I don’t want to pull fuses).

I assume the 7 pin on the Isata 3 is standard setup and there is a hot 12v pin on the plug.

Any other thoughts appreciated.

pin 4

Check pin 4 with the coach key in the on position. Some manuf do not connect line 4 or have it connected without a fuse to complete the line.

Base plates are readily available from 2 mfg.

The hardest thing is removing front stuff to get to the install spot.
A cut off tool is required once you are there.

Both Mfg have great video for the install process.

Simplest electric is a set of magnetic lights (that will work with whatever you tow ) and the charge line to the CRV to make up for juice used by Brake Buddy or similar.

2010 CRV owner.
