Isata 3FW watching DVD on bed room tv only.

My Isata 3 TV's, front TV set to HDMI 1 rear TV coaxial connection set to component/AV. Playing DVD in Jensen radio I could not turn off front TV while watching rear TV in bed. Turning off front TV via remote or power button DVD player would turn off. Installed switch plug between outlet and front TV power cable.
Now I turn on both TV's and switch off
Switch plug and front TV turns off.
Front speakers and rear TV has sound and picture while playing DVD.
Removed left and right screw on each side of the front TV on metal bracket to tilt front TV forward to insert switch plug into outlet.
Maybe there is an other solution but this works for us.

Well, the other solution was just to turn off "CEC". CEC lets the TV read the controls from the DVD player remote and vice versa. So if you put a DVD IN, then the TV will automatically turn on and change to the proper source.

So if you turn OFF CEC, then the TV's are not trying to read all the remotes and signals from the DVD player.

Thanks for the great tip. I didn’t even know there was a connection, but makes sense as the TV was always responding to the DVD.

Setting to turn off is on the Menu under Picture.

Those switches are still a neat item to have on hand. Going to order a couple.

Nice, thank you for info. Installed both plug switches on both TV's to turn off tv,s when not in use on battery power. No blue LED power indicator.
