Isata 5 28SS Kitchen Redesign?

I am seeing dealers showing the inside of a 28SS with a different design for the kitchen sink (double sink and not as deep). Yet the Dynamax website photos show the 28SS with the original design (round sink and a different shape of counter). Does anyone know (Brian Clemens??) if the 28SS kitchen sink area has been redesigned?

I believe they got a bunch of complaints about the single sink. By rotating it parallel with the counter they're able to get the double sink in. AFAIK they're making them with the double sink.

This is correct (well, I wouldn't say a bunch but at least one very persistent one). We'll update the website pictures at some point, but if you look at the floor plan, it has already been corrected. There may still be some in the field, but everything building now has the double.

Our 2019 I5 has a double sink...? cabinet doors are at an angle, drop leaf counter extension on side aimed at recliners (instead of blocking the doorway). NP for us.....mo complaints

That sink rotation looks like it would be great in the bigger units too, make for a little more walk through space when the slide is in. Any chance of that happening?

Depends on the model. Sometimes, we need that cavity depth for certain appliances. It also does appear to reduce some of the counter square footage. I think I have engineering analyzing that now...What surface area do we lose vs. the aisle way that we gain and by playing with depth, can we get some of that back and find a happy compromise.

I was wondering about the other I5 models. Seems an easy change for any of them perhaps.
