Just got stopped by a state trooper for failing to signal. Turns out the front, mirror left flasher works but the rear does not. That says to me that the flasher and brake switch are ok but something happened to the flasher/brake rear harness or lamp.

Has anyone ever accessed their rear lamps? Looks like the whole rear bumper/cap has to come off?

Possibly the harness to that lamp has disconnected on the washboard that pass for roads in so many parts of the country today but it's impossible to discern the track of the harness which is a Dynamax custom install so the dealers cannot help either.

Do you have the round taillight? If so, you should be able to pop the outer ring off, pull the light and check behind.

Before getting into the surgery, I poked around some more. There is a multi plug connector that was swinging in the breeze located close to the trailer plug. I squeezed it together JIC and heard a "click". Tested the lights and bingo, they worked. Have now secured the plug with tie wraps.

Thankfully a quick "fix".
