Ah, you make it sound so easy Brian. : ) If that's the case, how come I'm waiting for a reply and a fix from Dynamax? Your assistance in this matter would be appreciated.
To be clear, the distance between the top and the bottom is 2". The bottom seals barely touch each other. The tracks are showing uneven wear and the motors are timing out during the opening process.

In most cases it is, as long as you understand the system and its operation.
As for why you are waiting for a reply...who did you ask? There is not a lot we can do until it is in a dealer's hands to take a look. To get a good look at what is going on, the slide topper will need to be pulled loose.

Per my previous post, it was at the dealer all last week. Pics and discussions were done with dealer and Dynamax with no resolution so dealer asked me to take it home until Dynamax makes a decision.

Well, to be fair that is what the dealer told you. Who is the dealer? Have you reached out to anyone specifically at Dynamax that has not responded?

The dealer is Colorado Premier RV service, 970-342-6957. They say they are a registered Dynamax dealer and did recently fix my heater under Dynamax warranty. FYI - The local Lazy Days service dealer would not see me for several months (I believe because I didn't buy the RV from them).
Who would I call at Dynamax?

The last notes we had were from the end of January. It does not appear that anyone has reached out to us on this unit since.
I've check with both reps (the one that covers Ohio and the one that covers Colorado) and neither have talked to the service center. Normally, the service rep is assigned based on retail location, that way you aren't bounced around based on where you are (but where you're based).
I have asked my people to call, but maybe ask the dealer who they spoke with and are waiting for info from???

Slider Update: Dynamax wants my RV back in Indiana so they can fix the problem and ensure it gets fixed correctly. I'm glad Dynamax has taken this position and I feel better about the manufacturer fixing the problem versus some dealer. What I not happy about is it being driven 2200 miles to be fixed and the time I'm losing in this repair. Who knows how long that will be. I believe the slider wasn't correct from the beginning and that's a disappointment at this moment. I will save any additional comments until I know exactly what was wrong and fixed.
My local service shop urged me early on to get an extended warranty, ensuring coverage of sliders and mentioned this large slider as a potential money pit. I just hope this isn't the start of something to come and I will be researching the cost of these dreaded extended warranties.

Do a search on “Titles Only” with the word “Factory”. You will find repeated outstanding experiences from folks who have had warranty work done at the factory. If I was having a serious slide issue, I would insist on having it repaired at the factory.
I just took a tour of the factory when I picked up my Isata 5 and it was eye opening to how much hand work goes into every unit. They have a separate service bay they use just for warranty work by appointment. I don’t think you will experience a long delay getting the needed work done.
I have been fortunate owning an 2017 Isata 3 for three years without a single issue and only a couple of cosmetic issues so far on our new Isata 5. I do sympathize with owners who have issues and I think going to the factory for major items is wise. It’s how Dynamax handles problems is what sets them apart from the rest of the industry.

I wonder if mine is also destined for a trip back to the factory for this repair. Our slide issue are essentially the same. Guess I'll wait till the dealership reopens and find out if they are able to make any of the necessary adjustments. What a bummer.

Here are some slide pictures of our unit picked up just last month. It rained on us practically the entire trip home to Texas and I didn’t see any water in the unit.
The bulb is compressed on the sides, maybe a little gap along the bottom.

In other news along the mod front, I got my SnapPads finally after a lengthy COVID-19 shipping delay and got them installed today. It was a “Snap”.
Really like the wide footprint and no need to carry pads to protect surfaces at RV resorts (some of which require pads).

This is what mine looks like now. Picked it up new almost 3 weeks ago. Gap was bigger when I went to take delivery and I made the dealer adjust the slides when I was there. Much better now. Very tight on the sides except that one corner that comes up to the rise. Bulb seal does not quite touch there. I was going to add some adhesive foam seal on opposite side to close the gap. So far no issues opening or closing slide.

More progress today. Can’t camp anywhere, so might as well keep working on the mods.
I added the Rhino storage tube to handle a 20 ft Rhino (two 10 ft) with fittings. I went side to side bolting to the metal framing using a 3” inset strap on both sides. That way the pipe is not visible from the side unless you bend down to look, but it is still easily accessed. The Valterra product goes up to 94” and easily reached to both sides. There is also a cover on both ends, so the tube can be accessed from either side. I used some extremely large zip ties to support the tube in the middle by going over the frame and around the tube.

One more addition. I bought a two pack of these low profile rechargeable lights that also function as night lights. I put one just inside the door on the right side and the second below the bed in the back. They fit the plug covers perfectly and still allow the upper plug to be accessed.

I can’t remember where we were discussing the controls on the new Thomas Payne power recliners. I did some investigation today and this new controller does not have a lock to keep from inadvertently activating the heat and massage buttons (which is very easy to do). I tried using 5” rubber plumbing cap to cover the controls, but it was just too massive and unattractive. A neighbor is making me a pair of fiberglass covers that go over the cup holder.
Here were the instructions I found on the LCI website under customer support. One good thing I learned in the instructions was the light, heat and massage only stay on for 30 min before cutting off automatically, so that’s a good thing to prevent them from staying on while in storage.

You are right they are too big, I am sending mine back. Need to find someone with a 3D printer to make something that fits. Post a pic of the covers they make for you
