Isata 5 4x4 DS / 16' Enclosed Trailer

Just curious if anyone is towing their toad in an enclosed trailer but specifically with the Isata 5. Right now I just flat tow my Jeep YJ and it tows fine. Looking at a new jeep (not a 4 door) and have a chance at getting a Cargo 8.5 x 16' trailer in the deal. The trailer has the 5200 axles so will hold the weight. I will be able to add more weight to the trailer and empty my Isata 5 of the cargo. I'm just curious of any thoughts or experience someone has with this setup. The trailer matches my Colors and is just a thought right now. This is not a done deal.

Thanks,
Paul

Just make sure your tongue weight is considered in the isata5’s occc. You probably already know this.

Thinking of doing the same thing. Haven’t purchased rv or trailer but planning to do so soon.
Let me know if that works out for you and and your towing experience. Looking to purchase a 36 DS.

After some research and looking at the pros/cons I have decided to continue flat towing a jeep. I am not saying the trailer is a bad idea but for now concidering the RV and the places I go it just makes more sense. I will continue to load the jeep to avoid unnecessary weight in the RV.

And since I didn't fork out $$$ for the trailer maybe the wife won't catch all the new jeep upgrades.

Yes, I tow a 20 foot Enclosed trailer containing a 56 Chevrolet and other stuff. I tow it with the Isata 5 36 DS and it pulls like a mule up and down the hills with no issues.
Good idea!!
