Isata 5....Pulled the trigger
I wanted to thank everyone for providing valuable information which greatly helped me in my decision to go with a new Isata 5. This forum, the quality of the units and the factory support made the decision to go with Dynamax an easy one. The order was placed this morning and now I get to stare at my calendar for a few months. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you guys on the road soon.

Congrats. All I have to say is let us know if and when you get overweight with the typical 900 lb cc weight these units have.
hey may be nice but for the price I would want 4000lb min CCC.
Youll see...
Heck my TT has 2400 lbs ccc and just putting plates, pots pans etc in it increases it 300 lbs.
Camping ready I need to add food, clothes, and people and misc stuff. Thats another 700 lbs.
Im with in my limits, but are you?

The new units are more in the area of 1400+ lbs. CCC. I know another owner that just weighed there unit with full water , fuel, and one adult and was right around 17900. That leaves room to get to 19500. It's just us two, the dog. and a toad with minimal tongue weight. The best part of the 5 is that engine which is producing almost as much HP and more torque than the Force which is rated to carry 9000 lbs more. I do not see any CCC issues with this rig. Do I want 4000 lbs CCC? Absolutely! Reality is we all can't afford or want to pay for a DX3. I view the Isata 5 as the perfect compromise.

By far the best driving of the 4 class C motorhomes I have owned. There will be bugs but there always is. This forum will be a great help. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours.

Congratulations! We were dead set on one also. Almost pulled the trigger till I found a lightly used 2016 Force HD last fall. For me I'm glad I did due to the lack of storage compartments in the 5. You will be happy though and I'm sure will get a ton of compliments. What color did you choose? Gray was only option when we looked.

We went with the Granite color. Would love a DX3 or Force but the 5 is perfect for our first RV. We can always upgrade in the future.

I have seen several posts about lack of storage. I know my fiends with big class A coaches carry a lot of stuff and most of the time never use half of it. I have found the storage more than adequate. CCC can be an issue but since we tow a Jeep we put the heavy stuff in there.

Lack of storage? I can't find enough stuff to fill the ones on my I5. Of course, I'm coming from a Ford E450 class C.
