Isata 5 Series 28SS (Pictures, hot off the press)

Pretty soon, we won't be able to use the term "hot off the press"...we'll need something else people will understand.

Anyway, we needed to get some professional shots for an article and so these just got a rough edit. Its nice they can light it to show off what it looks like in the sun. Tough to see that compass in the dark building we were in.

Nice, something other than the big “swishes” on the paint [emoji3]

Very nice! That looks like a very good size unit.

While I like the paint design pattern, the “color”, if you can even call it a color, is VERY boring. I hope Dynamax will also offer it in other, more exciting color options, like Cosmic Blue or Sunset.

What do you anticipate will be the overall height of this RV? Over 12 feet or under 12 feet?

You guys are really reinventing RV’s. Nothing like this on the market. It will probably be your most popular model, eclipsing the 30FW.

Very nice. Gotta love the size and of course anything on a Ram has to be good.
Sooo....
Do the mountains turn blue in the cold?
And more important- can a 36” waist get from the cab to the can with the slide retracted?
After showing this thread to my wife for the third time, her response was “Oh oh”

Do the features and options on the Dynamax website for the isata 5 reflect the new model 28 ss? And are we close to a MSRP

Bunk delete

Will one be built without the front bunk like the Isata 3?

1. The paint was designed to be "subtle". More automotive in colors, no swooshes...to capture the spirit of exploring without green trees and blue rivers. We will still offer all of our other schemes/colors. You don't have to get this scheme.

2. I do wish the mountains turned blue in the cold...that would be sweet. I'm old enough to remember the color changing shirts. If you put your hand on the motorhome it would change colors where your hand was. I'll have to work on that.

3. As for "too much black", it is listed on the brochure as "Xplorer (Dark)"...inferring we will have an "Xplorer (Light)"

4. I don't think the website has the updated specs yet (Other than I did change HP and Torque). We are working on the 2021 brochure which will reflect those changes. MSRP on the 28 is $193k base and $14,775 for the Xplorer package.

5. We do not have a "non-bunk" at this time. It is something we will look at....but even on the 3 series, once we offered the bunk, the bunk became 85% of our business, maybe more. So while the non-bunk is on my radar, it is not a major priority right now. (but I do love the look of a non-cab-over and it looks good on a brochure)

I would definitely be interested in the non bunk model.
