So the plastic covers on the front wheels of the Dodge 5500 chassis drive me a bit nuts after first weekend in new coach. On the backend/duals I can live with....no problem. Fronts.... Not such a good look. Makes a really nice unit look a bit cheap. Which Alcoa wheel are people using as replacement that gets rid of the plastic lug cap for the 19.5" wheel? Been looking but long weekend and I can't find it....... I know one of you spend some kids lunch money on new wheels without telling wife. Which one and source of supply?
Alcoa no longer builds those wheels...they used to and they sold the design and mfg to the company that you see for the aluminum wheels we get today. When we first bought the Isata 5...they looked exactly the same, but had an Alcoa sticker. After the first year or so, the main wheel OEM took it over...same exact wheel, no Alcoa sticker.
