ISATA3 FW front slide clicking - Newbie needs help

New to slide issues so I have a few questions:
1. In an Isata 3 FW, where are the slide motors located?
2. Is there a way to manually push the slide out/in?
3. I pulled off the slide controller and when I push motor 1 button, it will ext and ret. When I push motor 2 button, I only hear clicking. Do I have a motor or a programming issue?

Thanks,

Greg

Do you have an Fault Codes on the Slide-Out Panel?

You may want to watch this video and try the steps in it.

If you have a motor that failed or a pinched / broken wire in the wiring harness, you have to disengage the motors to manually push the slide in.

Here are some other videos that may also be helpful depending how deep you want to get into troubleshooting your problem.

Thanks, super helpful. I saw some of these videos but not all. Gregat to get them all in one place. Might be an idea to post this in something like a FAQ in the forum.

I値l go through the steps in the vide. I did have a fault code of 4 red and 2 green when it stopped.

Do you know the location of the motors in an Isata 3? Are they behind some sort of trim? Inside or outside?

Thanks

Greg

Following.. I just had 2 green and 4 red flashes..

Tried reversing the harness at controller in bottom compartment.. same

Front motor I think is dead.. or loose wiring connection.. fortunately my slide is in, reset to get 1 green and 7 red flashes but cannot set zero stop because of dead front motor.

Regardless, I知 taking back to dealer for repair.

Problem is if this happens on long trip your screwed without extra parts.. I知 getting extra harness and motor spare.

With my past coaches, I have always carried two spare slide motors, spare controller and spare wiring harness. It sucks investing that much money but it is well worth it for peace of mind and to address issues on your own.

Even if you aren't mechanically inclined, having the parts could make it easier to deal with a mobile tech to get you back on the road.
