Keypad/fob Isata 5

I have lost power to my keypad on the entry door which also renders the fob inop. Anybody else experienced this on 2019 Isata 5

I haven't but I think our coach door is the same as the DX 3's and there is a thread on here about power to the door lock. I think it begins with making sure the door electrical contacts are making contact. Funny looking things at the bottom of the door at the hinge on the inside. But look for that thread there was lots of discussion about the issue.

Wonder if there’s a fuse involved because there’s no lights in the keypad and the fob doesn’t work either

It gets power from that door switch I told you about, if it is not making contact, no power. Look at the threads, do a search on the Dynamax Sub Forum this is just a couple there are more:

Should there be voltage on those contacts all the time?

Couldn't tell you but if you read some of those threads, I only sent you two of them, there was some discussion on there about how they work and all that. I've never had an issue so don't know anything about them, just trying to point you towards help with the links to the threads.

So the whole problem is the contacts at bottom door?
How did you fix yours?
Or you replaced all the components?

Just checked the voltage at the door contacts and have 13+ volts. I guess ill have to remove the keypad and see if there’s voltage going to the keypad. Can’t imagine there’s anything but wires between the pad and contacts

Someone on a different forum was having a similar issue and cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner and several other things with no success. Then they cleaned to contacts with a pencil eraser and it worked.

One other thing. If you changed the unlock code the key fob needs to be reprogrammed too.

No...if you read those threads it will give you the whole story. It is either....
1. the contacts at the door not properly making contact
2. the key pad went back...there is a resistor.relay that can go bad and the keypad needs replaced. (Kredburn identified this)

Those threads are long, but give you all the info you should need.
