Keypad not working 2018 Isata 5 30FW

Does anyone have experience with the electronic keypad not working. I had a problem 6 months ago and I fixed it by sanding the two square metal contacts on the lower door jamb. They were a little rusty. Now the keypad doesn't work and I can't even lock or unlock with the key fob. The metal door jamb contacts are clean. Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure on 3 series, but our keypad went bad once and also had it blow a fuse once, the fuse for the Force was up above the step (under chassis) in a bunch of wiring.

Long thread on this...get with Pop-Locks and/or service rep and they can get a replacement keypad. Seems like the resistors in there were undersized...but at that point it would still lock and you got lights, it just didn't unlock.

IF there are no lights or anything, then could be contacts.

ONE OTHER THING....I had on a door I say, when you close the door, the pins are sort of at an angle, but if the door gets tweaked...the pins actually end up sliding OFF of the metal contacts. Hard to describer...but I noticed that with the door partially open, the keypad would light up. BUT, once I close the door completely, the key pad would not work. Finally figured out, the pins on the door side kind of pivot with the hinge.

Thanks Hala and Brian, I will check the fuse and the pin angle.
