Kitchen Sink Replacement

Has anyone replaced their dual bowl kitchen sink with a single bowl sink? I ordered a single bowl sink from Lippert that looked like a direct replacement however; the corners of the single bowl are much sharper than the existing dual bowl as it will not work with the existing counter top cut out.

The dual bowls are pretty small, we thought a larger single sink would provide additional wash / prep space.

perhaps put the single bowl on the counter-top upside-down, trace the edges, then you or someone use a jig saw or router to cut the countertop to the right dimensions?

thinking of what I read from another thread... CAN YOU get at the underside of the sink for the hook up of water and drain?

not always possible as these RV's are NOT made like homes
