KW1 water filters for model RCS cartridge

We own a 2018 Dynamax Dynaquest XL. Have about 6 months use on the water filter that came installed on the rig, so we wanted to order replacements. Long story short, we can't locate the KW1 filters for use in the model RCS cartridge anywhere. I even called the 1800 number listed on the cartridge label. This rings to WaterFlow, and tech I spoke with could not find this filter. The label on our cartridge was from The WaterPur Company. I looked online for 2 hours, couldn't even find a filter that replaces the KW1 filter.
Brian Clemmons, any ideas? I have an email out to Tony Anagnos at Dynamax as well. Would this cartridge and filter already be obsolete?

i don't remember the details but a couple of months ago there were a couple of posts about this filter being obsoleted. there was a new replacement filter announced but to use it you had to a one time replacement of the filter housing. the changes had to do with removing the teeth at the top of the housing and using a true screw on thread at the top of the housing. so it may become harder to find these replacements as the existing stock is used up. the new filter / housing provide the same performance.

Looks like you got your answer. I googled "waterpur company" and the first link was to the K1 replacement. And the 2nd was to the company itself.

As a side note. Tony is the national sales manager. You would likely have better luck emailing parts department for stuff like that https://dynamaxcorp.com/contact-us

i need to correct my previous post a bit. apparently the kw1 filter cartridge in unchanged and readily available. it is the fw1 housing that has been replaced by the rcs housing. they both hold the same kw1 cartridge.
