Locating framing

If you’re ever looking to locate the framing on your rig just use the morning dew!

For us lucky enough to live in the desert SW we only get that stuff in the Mountains.

We call it...wait for it...Mountain Dew.

ISATA 5 Cabover framing

Anyone out there got a drawing of the framing, both the aluminum and the wood in the cabover. I'm building cabinets and I'm looking to figure out where the frame attachment points could be?

Thanks...

I used a "Stud finder", but I kept setting it off all the time.

FLIR E5 infrared camera. Kind of expensive to buy as just a stud finder, but I have to use one for my work and it comes in handy for finding any type of studs.

I used a regular wood stud finder to locate the cross support noted in the picture. It worked well. Dynamax factory installed the towel ring about 6" below the cross support, and it pulled out the first day I used it (see plugged holes). This is the kind of stuff that gives the factory QC a bad reputation.
