Looking for 12volt source

I have a 2018 Isata 3 and after installing my Weboost cell booster and tapping into the awning wiring for power, I have discovered that the awning does not have power when the Sprinter is running. Does anyone know of a easy to find 12 volt source near the cabinet over the door?

If you have a satellite, there is 12v for that in the switch behind the TV. I think the under cabinet lights and the toggle switch would have 12v as well.

Perhaps the TV antenna attenuator on the ceiling. You'd have to leave the switch on though.

The under counter lights seem to be 5.5 volts. I dont have satellite unfortunately.

I am thinking about running a 14 gauge wire from the chassis fuse panel and just go from there.
Funny but the Isata 3 brochure talks about 12 volt outlets and ours has none.

Which year brochure? Could have been referring to chassis 12V cigarette lighter outlet. We haven't done those in a long time, preferring to over USB versions.

I'm not a Dynamax owner so I can't direct you to any convenient 12 v source but I've found over the years that the best way to power up a new "accessory" is to make a "home run" to the fuse panel. There are lots of "add a circuit" options that allow for a new circuit to be added in piggyback to an existing, and perhaps little used (like W/S defroster) fuse.

Tapping into a wire just running near your new device can often lead to unintended consequences. The "home run" is usually the safest bet. Not always easiest but also not impossible.

A note on tapping circuits in the fuse panel, there are often three separate types of fuse buses in them. One is connected to the Ignition when key is on, one is connected to the ACC portion of the ignition switch and is only hot when key is in ACC position and the last is direct from the battery. If your accessory is only going to be used while coach is running, tap into the ACC bus as this will assure that the accessory isn't hot when the key is off.

If tapping into the Coach fuse panel, just about any fuse can be "piggy backed" although in my panel I found a couple of vacant positions. Just added wire to empty terminal, added fuse, and "Bob's your Uncle", I had power. Even have a little red LED to tell me if that fuse is blown.

Ok
I tapped into the dome light in the cab.
I drilles a hole in the cubby next to the tv. Then ran the wiring into the recess behind the tv, through the hole Imhad already drilled for the interior antenna cable to run and into the box in the cabinet above the door where the awning wiring is. Worked out great. I will still run a heavy gauge wire into the house from the sprinter to the house for possible future upgrades.

The 2018 brochure mentions 12 volt and usb ports. It is listed under Chassis which I did not pick up on.

I tapped into the 12V power wire to the front 12V Jensen TV. Can get to it through the speaker hole after removing the speaker. Very easy. I recently replaced the TV with a 32" Samsung smart TV on the same swivel mount so the wire isn't used anymore anyway.
