M&G Braking system

Bought and installed an M&G braking system for our Ford F-150. I looked at a bunch of different options after our old Brake Buddy took a dump. This M&G setup is pretty dang slick, I wish I would have come up with the idea. Their adapter goes between your vacuum booster and master cylinder. Air from your coach brakes operate it. It is true proportional braking. It also has a small air tank you mount under the hood that has enough air in it to apply the brakes in case of a break away. Once it is installed you don't have to do anything but hook up a air line from the coach to toad.. Pretty simple to install, instructions are straight forward and if you are mechanically inclined shouldn't be a problem. It took me longer to take my grill off the pickup to hide airlines and breakaway wires than it did removing the master cylinder and installing the M&G. I'll take some pictures tomorrow if anyone wants to see it. I need to cover the wire from the breakaway to the battery with some wire loom before I let anyone see my work. I haven't pulled it yet but I will update as soon as I do. Some applications require a different air filter if your filer box is too close to the maser cylinder. My truck did need this and they will sell you a fancy K&N style cone shaped filter for 75 bucks. Really not a bad deal for a reusable filter. Entire setup with the breakaway tank (which is optional) air filter and the adapter was $840. Pretty reasonable considering what everything else on the market cost.

Mounted the air inlet and electric plug in the plastic center peice on the bumper. If I ever go a different route or sell the truck I can remove everything and replace that peice of plastic and it's good as new. The mini tank for the breakaway comes already plumbed the way you see in the pic. All you have to do is bolt it somewhere and run a air line to it and one to master cylinder adapter.
