M2 chassis weight

Just wondering if anybody knows the weight of the M2 106 chassis used for the DX3/Force prior to anything being built on top of it. I'm trying to figure out the weight of the "house" that Dynamax builds. My theory is GVWR - OCC - chassis weight = house weight.

In case anybody else is curious I found an order form for a 2017 M2 106 with 197" wheelbase, 24' frame length, and 25k GVWR. The total chassis weight was quoted at 9442 lbs. I guesstimate that for a 268" wheelbase, 36' frame length, 33k GVWR it'd add on another 2000 lbs. If a Force HD has about 9000 lbs of CCC, that'd put the "house" weight at about 12,500 lbs.

My purpose for this thought exercise is to compare this to the weights of 5th wheels. A quality 30' 5er weighs about 10-12k lbs dry including the chassis. Judging by cargo trailer weights, I'd estimate that the 5er's chassis weighs at least 4,000 lbs. So there's definitely more material in the super C's construction. I also like that on a super C, the chassis to house weight ratio is almost 1:1.

Ah, I was wondering why the question. (I was not in the office so I thought the easiest way was to look at a stick of the chassis curb weight when it arrives).

Anyway, I can attest that we use more robust materials on the Super C than most 5ers. Partly because we don't have their same weight concerns. Our sidewall glass is thicker, frame that we add to the chassis is thicker, walls are normally 2" framing versus 1.5". Just different animals.
