Macerator hose for DX3?

Someone posted a link for the Macerator hose for a DX3 on Amazon. For the life of me, I couldn't find it and when I did, it was only an inch in diameter. The one we use is 1.5 inches.

Can anyone share a link? I need a new one.

Thanks,

Mark

Supply looks dismal. This site did not say 'out of stock'. https://www.adventurerv.net/hose-cla...o-p-41013.html. As backup I keep the standard sewer hoses in our storage. Suggest inserting a gate valve in the sanacon drain line to cut off any flow.

Yeah, so far I've checked 13 possible sites and they're out of stock on all of them.

Might have to start using the 3 1/2" hose for now....

Thanks for everyone's help.

Pool/spa hoses work for the meantime. They don’t curl back up small, but they are cheap and easy to find.

Keep checking back on Amazon and eBay. It took me about two months, but one day it popped up on Amazon with like 9 available. Scored one, then the next day they were out of stock again.

For mine I called the company that was selling it on eBay and Amazon. They gave it to me for 20% off (since they didn’t have to pay the eBay or Amazon fees.

I've been checking for a month. Haven't found one in stock yet anywhere.

The 1" macerator hoses from multiple vendors (including Thetford) always seem to be readily available. I've never used one of these 1" hoses, but I know the Sanicon system in our coaches is designed to push the waste through 3/4" garden hoses which can be attached to the head of the supplied 1.5" hoses we have. I have done this multiple times...it's obviously slower, and you have to be cautious about the continued run time of the Sanicon, but it works.

I guess my point is this - if I had to have one pretty quickly, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these 1" hoses and adapt it down from 1.5" ID to 1" ID at the outlet of the Sanicon.

Just a thought.

That’s a good temporary solution I guess. Funny thing is I ordered one a few months ago and it came in at 1”. I sent it back, guess I should have kept it.

I appreciate the knowledge. I’ll order the 1” hose again… it should work great because everyone knows I’m not full of sh*t so I could probably get away with a straw. 😂

That's actually not a bad idea. All I am looking to do is extend my existing hose, now and again when I'm a little short due to facility layout. I tend to park pretty far forward if I'm not staying long and keeping the toad attached. And the 1" hose probably wont take up as much space in stowage. Just have to be sure the union stays connected. Seems a fair amount of pressure when the pump is on. I've had the end pop out of the point of sewer entry more than once. Now Im more careful. And watch carefully.

After stalking the internet for three months, I finally found one on ebay. Husband said it needs to go in it's own bin and be treated like gold.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Jeff ((JRM63) for offering to sell me his extra hose. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness (even if you did mark it up 300%)
JOKE, Jeff did not. 😂😂
