Macerator toilet, tank treatment?

With our previous travel trailer, we typically used these:

I'm curious if anyone uses this type of thing in the macerator toilet based units? I'd assume that it wouldn't cause any problems and would simply be 'processed' like other things heading that way?

Want to keep the tanks as clean as they can be and the citrus smell never hurts.

We have used them, mostly because I had bought a big bin of them for our 5th wheel and wanted to use them up. I have seen liquid types as well, not sure if there is a difference. My thought was the macerator was good for solids so the pod should just go right through as well.

That's mainly my thought too, just being careful and don't want to break something.

We use Happy Camper powder and have had great results. Tried several others, but we have had the best results with this. Good stuff!

https://www.trbowlin.com/bio-geo-method/ This is what Brian recommended. You will be purchasing 3 items for this method. Dawn Detergent, Borax and Zep Heavy Duty Citris Cleaner. At least with a macerator toilet we are not going to have a Poo Pyramid!

Our macerator toilet has two modes. One for liquids and one for solids. We usually put the toilet treatment in during a liquid flush. You need something in there to keep the fumes under control.
