Magnum Inverter / Remote Switch

Just learning all the systems on our new Isata 3. We have a Magnum remote switch on the control panel by the door, but when I switch it on/off, nothing happens and no light activates on the Magnum remote as indicated in the manual.

I looked in the storage bay where the Magnum Inverter is installed and saw the remote cable was plugged into the Inverter. There is no room in the storage bay to see the controls without some kind of mirror stick. The Inverter takes up most of the space and the ends are hidden. Just wondering if the main power switch is turned off and that is why the remote is not functioning? Has anyone had an similar experience?

On mine, I have to hold the switch down for a few seconds before the light comes on.

It is "push and hold" for the light. I learned that one the hard way too.

Thanks! This first time RV ownership is a lot of fun. Figuring out all these systems for the first time. So far everything has an explanation which is a good thing.

I went back to the remote button manual and sure enough under operation it says you have to hold the button in for at least one second. Seems like things could be a little more intuitive.
