More (not 20) questions for B.C.
While my 2017 Isata 5 35DB sits at Kelderman this week, I have a couple questions I've been saving up for Brian:
1) Should the rear window have a screen? All other windows do, but I wasn't sure since it is an emergency egress window. If so, can I still get one through parts department?
2) For the known issue of the buffeting LARGE windows on the dinette and above the couch, I know the fix was to replace with the new windows that have smaller awning crank-outs below fixed panes. I'm not the original owner, and well past warranty period, AND 35DB isn't made anymore. How can I get the revised design windows for both sides? Installation looks pretty straightforward.
The coach drove great from Colorado out to Iowa in one day, just loud and rough, so should be much better coming home, assuming the weather holds!
Thanks,
-Ken

Ken,
I can answer the first question for you. No, that window should not have a screen since it’s the egress.
For the second question, I’d reach out to our parts department and see if they can assist: https://dynamaxcorp.com/contact-us

Howdy fellow 2017 35DB owner, #teambunkhouse.
I'm curious about the window thing, I've only had 1 trip with my rig so far and my wife didn't complain about any issues when she was riding back in the dinette. I'll have her specifically listen for it on our next trip though.

Ken,
1) Agree with the other response here, any window that is an egress window, cannot have a screen. Also the reason it's has latches and not cranks to open it.
2) What you are looking for is a Lippert 3000 series window and the model is a "300SVD". After that, you provide the dimensions of the opening in the wall.
Now, with that said, there is someone on the Thor Omni FB page that has/had the exact same issue and solved it quite creatively. They bought one of thos air deflector that you'd use for the sunroof of your car that is designed to get air to flow over an open sunroof rather than into the car. They installed it vertically in front of the leading window. This diverts air around the glass panes and stopped the buffeting. Here's his picture of the install (please forgive the Thor content ).....

It's an interesting situation. There are times when it'll be fine, but other times you can see daylight coming in from the bottom and/or sides of the glass as you drive down the road. It's speed and wind dependant for sure, but for us it happened more often than not.
Our first introduction to it was driving through Texas during cotton picking season. You could see cotton all over the sides of the road. It was EVERYWHERE outside......and when we arrived at our campground, the screens for the dinette window and window behind the couch looked like a dryer lint screen after drying white towels for 4 hours. It was actually pretty funny.
Not sure if the forum allows linking to FB videos, but here's one that someone else captured (not me).

We had the same window issue with our 2018 Isata 5 DB. Several windows would seem like they were going to get blown right off, you could see the glass flex so bad. Dynamax replaced all of the windows under warranty. Even though yours is out of warranty it does not hurt to ask. The new windows are great, no issues. However I wish I would have offered to pay the difference to upgrade to double pane.

Welcome to wonderful Iowa weather. From 70s to snow flurries today.
Enjoy the upgrade from Kelderman. I have the front and rear system on my 17 36DS.
You can try to get the replacement windows directly from Lippert.
I replaced the window in the bunk area above the cab with a double pane window. No more wind noise / flexing during strong cross wind.
Happy Camping and safe travels.
