Sounds like this particular unit was used pretty hard in its first couple years
Then there are a few minor everyday stuff mixed in there looks like (valences, leaky filter, etc).
I’d start with the water/mold damage first as that’ll dictate how extensive your repairs are. Get those leaks sealed up ASAP!

What does this statement mean? It's an RV. Is it just something to look at and not use for its intended purpose? How does one use an RV hard?

The Atwood AC's I believe still have a TSB out on leaking. Something about a drain port.

Full time / many days, outside storage, freeze/thaw environments, heavy loads, rough roads
All these things cause accelerated wear and tear. Yes it’s an RV and these things have an extended list of maintenance items not regularly seen on a house or automobile. But when you drive a house down a road it gets more complicated.
Increased use requires more frequent maintenance is the point I was getting at

The Dynamax dealer I got it from and the FR dealer who looked at it never said a word. All they did is tell me that it shouldn't be leaking.
Water runs in. I'd guess 24oz an hour, and only while driving.

Water infiltration and lack of seal maintenance in freeze/thaw environments will wreck anything. That will cause numerous other issues if left unchecked.

I will repeat myself that these are checked/ inspected by a large reputable FR dealer. Read the thread, I took it in when we found moisture months ago. They put new seals on and it hasn't leaked until now.
It didn't freeze between then and now.
edit- Its not even 3 years old. lets not forget all of the issues.

No wonder it kept cracking. I recently heard of another customer with a 5 series. 10k rated hitch, 1k rated tongue weight. He was towing a 17,000 lbs trailer with about 3,000lbs of tongue weight. He just figured the engineers had overbuilt it and under-rated it. He was wrong. He was towing a trailer that was rated almost as high as the GVWR of the vehicle towing it. It was the tail wagging the dog.

I have no doubt that happens. I've got the 20k hitch and have weighted the set up on scales. I was within all specs with a totally loaded race set up. Even within the rear axle limit.

OK, who is the dealer? Is it an actual Dynamax dealer that has a relationship with the factory or just a Forest River dealer that doe not carry our product and likely does not understand it? I read the thread and am trying to provide some opinion, if you already know everything I will gladly keep my opinions to myself.

yes, but you don't know what the previous owner did. So it cracked after you owned it? Or before and just didn't;t notice?
What is the last 8 of the VIN. I'd be happy to look up service notes.

One of each. One is a Dynomax dealer in Mineola TX who I bought it from. (and has since admitted fault on misrepresenting its condition, unrelated to the issues listed above, and send me a check) One is an big 3 location FR dealer who does not carry Dynomax.

The exterior crack was new from since I have had it. It was not present at the purchase time. Who knows what the last guy towed with it.

Now there is an attitude to be proud of, direct from the dealer.
I was going to ignore it but that's just sad to see you taking the low road. I am the one out tens of thousands of dollars and reeling. And this is how you represent Dynamax?

Being frustrated is not a free pass to be disrespectful. If I read too much into this post, then please accept my apologies...but you started this thread off with a post that was less than the full story, taking some massive liberties. When I tried to add a little dose of reality...as in there is no way to know how the previous owner treated this thing, it was met unkindly.
I am here of my own personal choice. This is not a FR owned or operated site. I try to keep things real, and you will not get canned PC speeches from me. I will passionately support those that have issues and passionately defend Dynamax from misleading statements and half truths. Some people appreciate the honesty and some do not.
I meant that statement as a fact. If you are looking for opinions, I will gladly give them. If you are just looking for a place to vent, I will stay away.

That list screams of not looking over what you bought.

I will reiterate my offer to look up the service notes if you shoot me the last 8 of the VIN.

Honestly if this did happen all overnight then maybe a tree did fall on the unit and he’s got an insurance claim...
Not how the story reads but hey I’m no expert

I don't think there is a single manufacturer, from an entry level stick-and-tin to a Prevost bus that you should "expect" leaks. There are lots of happy customers on here that have owned their coaches for years...and bought multiple. I don't think they would do that if "it is known they were junk". I think what most of the posts have been expressing, as mine did as well, is that you purchased a used coach that was very poorly maintained. No different than houses in a neighbor hood. You can normally see who takes care of their stuff and who doesn't. In this case, it sounds like they didn't.
