New delivery problems of DX3

Pocket Door to Living area,
I was still on the dealer's parking area and the pocket door bunge pulled the hook out of the wall! The hook was secured to the thin wall board! Dealer fix by finding a solid piece of wood up about an inch or so.

Bedroom Drawer
Bedroom Drawer opened up with a bang. Dealer was able to fix. However since then the other drawer flew open and I don't know how to fix it.

Sani Con
Tested the Sani Con while still at the dealer's parking area. They have full hookups available. Turned on pump with fresh gray water and the system was leaking at the first fitting out of the unit. Upon closer inspection somebody applied super torque with either a pipe wrench or channel locks and cracked the fitting. Dealer again came through. I believe they headed to Home Depot looking for a part.

Wash basin sink plunger in-operative. Dealer put in new part.

Theater recliner seat lever broken. Dealer came through again.

AquaHot fluid levels very low. Dealer brought new antifreeze? to fix but forgot to put it in probably due to the in-accessibility of the fill cap. I will fill that with a new oil-suction pump I had laying around.

There were more 'nits' but I just can't remember them all. However, the dealer came through like a champ with multiple techs and fixed everything with no hassle!

The only lingering thing now is the air conditioner baffle which I will be addressing thanks to this forum.

Not practical to go back to the dealer as he is 1200 miles away. With this forum that shouldn't be necessary anyhow.

Sorry to hear about all of those things that were overlooked.

Sounds like you had a good dealer who took care of business and got you

fixed up.

There are only two things that I can comment on the first#

Sani Con:
Do yourself a favor and install SS hose clamps on both ends of the black

discharge hose. The plastic one will break.

Aqua Hot:

You are better off with the plastic expansion tank being up high.

It will help keep air out of the unit. After you fill, make sure you remove

any air that is in the system. Download the service manual.

Atwood AC:

Use foil tape and tape those baffles in place.

There is a lot of knowledge on this forum and a Dynamax GM who will go

out of his way to help you. (bclemens).

Good luck.

the drawers are soft close, self latching. I found out this past week, when I flagged one for NOT being soft close that there is a lever somewhere in the back that needs to be flipped to engage that. Otherwise they are regular ole drawer guide. You might shine a light in the back and see if you can see it. He flipped it, but I didn't see it personally.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try.

Motor Home Specialists, Alvarado, TX. mhsrv.com

I believe that the Salesman was instrumental in achieving such efficient service. That was Marty Hunt. He was always on the ball and 'greasing the skids'.

X2^^^ We always seem to hear about the Jerks and not those who do their level best to provide a quality product.

Dixie RV in Hammond, LA was SUPER to work with as well! We will definitely go back tehre if ever we decide to get a different camper.

All I can say about MHS from my personal experience is to double check everything they touch...5 coaches bought from them and every single one was made worse by their PDI guys. They’re great to buy from but we’ve never had luck with their service dept or PDI. When we picked up our Force we just took as it was and fixed everything when we got home.
