New Force 37TSHD
We picked up our new Force HD on Staturday.
The ride is great! Paint is beautiful!
Some questions:
Not sure about all the audio/video options.
We bought our Wally with us and the dealer installed it in the cubby in the front bunk area above the DVD player.
Satellite TV plays on TV in entertainment system, but we could not get it to play outside or in the bedroom. Tech said he would have to run additional cables for it to work?
Also, could not get any sound to come from the ceiling speakers. Should the cab radio or main TV be able to play through them?
Thanks for your help.
We probably will have more questions later as we get ready for our first adventure.

Not sure about the wally, but I believe the HDMI cables go to multiple TV's, but they are tied to the BluRay player in the cabinet (in our BH model).
The sound in the speakers also comes from the BluRay player but I dont know if that is the same in the TS model.
I had a few of the HDMI cables hooked up incorrectly, so you may want to look at that.
Congratulations by the way.

^correct^. We will be modifying the wiring on all products to be more consistent for the 2019 MY. There is an HDMI splitter that should feed each TV.
Going forward (and maybe you can adopt this set up), we will have an HDMI matrix instead. (4) in (4) out. The Blu-Ray and the receiver should be in the same location. So feed the Receiver HDMI int the matrix and the blu ray player into the matrix. Then The HDMI's to each of the TV's hook to the output side. That way, you can play Satellite or Blu Ray to ANY of the (3) TV's (bedroom, front, outside). All the HDMI cables are color coded at the ends so you should be able to figure out what is what.

Thanks.
I will take a look at the connections when I get home from work.
So, the Samsung DVD player up in the corner of the bunk has to be on for the sat to play on the other TV's?
Brian,
Which HDMI matrix should I get?

Also, I see two pairs of cables with red and white RCA plugs laying down behind the fireplace that are not connected to anything.
Could be for ceiling speakers? Where should they be connected?

No for the Blue-Ray/sat. Totally separate components.
Do you have the samsung home theater in a box? If so, then that would need to be on for the audio to place from the TV, but that has nothing to do with the video source.
We are using the Blackbird 4x4 matrix? Just because it has a remote. But anyone would work. Just make sure you get one that will play ANY source. Some, ALL 3 TV's must play the same source. that is more of a switcher than a matrix in my mind. Our 4x4 allows you to play any source on any TV independently.
Also to clarify....when you say you could not get it to play on the outside TV...did you change the source/input on the outside TV?

Thanks Brian.
I will check the source on the TV's later.
Which Blackbird 4x4 matrix? I am looking online and there are many models.
Is there a model number for the one you are using?
I like the idea of the remote to switch which source goes where.

Thanks for your help.
The HDMI cables were incorrectly connected to the splitter.
I can watch the sat on all 3 TV's, but must watch the same channel on all three.
I guess I need a second Wally and a matrix/switcher to watch two different sat channels at the same time.
Now to get the ceiling speakers working.

Correct. That's where the confusion comes into play. Every set up, someone wants something different. So do we make 100% of the people pay for the capability that only 10% want?
Anyway, I felt like the matrix was the best case scenario. Once you take out the splitter and a 2nd DVD player, it pretty much pays for the Matrix.
Then (1) Sat and (1) Blur ray feed every single TV. And if you want to add another Sat, well then you still have (2) inputs to play with. Having the matrix forces engineering to design a spot that is accessible. A splitter can be hidden which is a good and a bad thing.
As for speakers is it working with a DVD in? That could should be plugged into an Audio Return Channel port on the TV. I think at one time, the TV's may not have come with that. If that is the case, then there needs to be an optical cable run to the home theater to get the TV sound to play through the surround speakers.

I'm not sure of the start date, but eventually we will be running this on all products.

I don’t think we have home theater. We opted for the Samsung 50” smart tv to replace the Sansui that the Force optional entertainment center/fireplace originally was going to come with.
My vin number ends with 2420.
The factory didn’t install the correct tv so it was ordered and installed by the dealer.
I removed one of the ceiling speakers and found that it had white wires with blue stripes.
I don’t see these wires anywhere by the 50” tv in the entertainment center or to the Connex sound bar/radio above the fireplace.
Where do these wires go?
