New Isata 5 30FW - Woohoo!

Just order our 2020 Isata 5 30FW for delivery in April 2020. Couldn’t be more excited as I have followed this model ever since they were released.

We are selling our 2017 Isata 3 24FW and I will list it in the Classified section next week. Super clean, 16k miles and as I have said many times, zero issues and no warranty claims. Serviced at Mercedes every year.

Lookin forward to bringing the new Isata 5 to Louisiana next June.

Congratulations, and I must say that I'll miss all of your Isata 3 24FW helpful hints! You've been there for all of us Isata 3 owners, and I'm sure you'll fall right into that role with your new rig. Happy trails!

Hooray! 4x2 or 4x4? We're low on 4x4 chassis....so I may need to put in a special request if you want it by April on 4x4.

4x4, they had an order in the queue they put my name on because the chassis were limited. I bought from the dealer 80 miles from the factory and plan a factory tour on our way home.

It’s supposed to be ready mid-March, but we are in China on tour until April 2, so picking up on April 8.

You're going to love it! We picked up our Isata 5 30FW in March of this year. I now have put over 6,000 miles on it with no issues. Great build at the factory and then PMI from Performance RV Sales in Ohio made all the difference.
Try to take the factory tour if you haven't already.....Very informative.

So I ordered the new electric theater seats in my Isata 5 30FW. Here is a shot of the current manual reclining theater seats currently shipping. Are the new electric model constructed similarly with all the extra padding and the removable tables? Same manufacturer? Also, assume they will still have seat belts?

Question on the Dynamax Factory TPMS - “Option 1941”

I see this option listed on the factory window sticker on some recent deliveries, but the order form I received from the dealer did not show this option. MSRP was $442.50 per the window sticker.

Which TPMS system is this that Dynamax is adding and are the sensors pass through? Also does this integrate in anyway with the Dodge factory TPMS?

I have the EEZTire I used in my Isata 3, but might want to add the Dynamax option.

It was an option on the 2018 chassis and we used TST. For the 2019 chassis, the TPMS is included on the Chassis from Ram. We add nothing to the Ram now.

I assume you are out of 2018 chassis by now and only using 2019? The RV I saw with the optional TPMS was just delivered this past month but it was a 2WD 36DS. All the recent 4x4 deliveries do not show the optional TPMS, so assume they are 2019 chassis?

MHSRV actually has seven unsold Isata 5 on the lot right now which I have never seen before since it was introduced. Sounds like your stepped up production of the Isata 5 is showing results.

I received the first pictures of my Isata 5 30FW currently in the final stages of production. One of the pics is the new theater seats/power recliner with heat/massage which is a new option just now shipping and replaced the manual theater seats.

Looks like it may be finished by the end of February. We already have three trips mapped out including the informal gathering in Louisiana.

Ours was already in production when the seats were introduced. We had to order them through the dealer after delivery. Should be another 3-4 weeks before the new seats arrive to replace the manual ones. My wife is very excited about the heat!

When you get up on a chilly morning and you are waiting for the coffee to finish brewing, the heat might be a welcome addition. It might be easier to sleep in the chairs with the heat and massage than using the bed.

We have a 30FW with the manual theater seats. The heated, massage seats sound great but I don't think I'd like not having the console in between the seats. Click image for larger version
