New Mattress

Ok, we finally decided the Force mattress needs replaced. I think Dynamax uses a different mattress in units built since ours.

Right now we wake up with numbness and toss and turn.

Any thoughts or suggestions on a new mattress? We did go and try out a Sleep Number bed, which was comfortable, but I would have to add an outlet under the bed for the compressor, which wouldnt be a big deal.

We have a long trip coming up and would love to have a new mattress so we can sleep and enjoy ourselves.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Just replaced ours with Englander Mattress. This is one of the nationwide manufactures who will make custom sizes. Their advantage is that you can try different mattress constructions of theirs at a local retailer to feel the differences, then order thru the store. Our cost was about $800 delivered, which seemed quite reasonable. The caveate is that we will try it out for the first time on a couple week trip this June......Bob

What was in your Force Halla...was it the Foam Serta?

It is a brownish color, about 5-6" thick. Kind of light. Dont remember seeing a tag

Serta would be white. That's probably a locally produced foam mattress. Everyone used to put cheap foam mattresses in all the time. When I was at Sunseeker, we started offering upgrade Serta mattresses to rental dealers. A large account at the time said "if you get a good nights sleep, you don't sweat the small stuff" "Bad nights sleep, and every minor issues is a trip ending catastrophe". This then became an option for retail and then standard when it took off. Serta became exclusive to Forest River and then suddenly everyone was trying to find brand name mattresses. Denver being the latest entry.

Going to give the Denver Euro top a try and see if we like it. Last night was the tipping point.

It's not what you were asking about but my wife got us this for the rental before we bought a force.

Super comfy. I slept as good on it as I do at home on my memory foam bed.

OEM mattress was horrible. We ordered the Visco Memory Foam RV Mattress topper, mattress pad, and sheets, all in RV Queen size from AB Lifestyles (AB Lifestyles USA Made Bedding for Home and RV). What a difference! Fantastic company to deal with. They answer the phones right away, very helpful, very quick shipping.
