Newbie question or 2

Bought a forest river forester 2008 with 21000 miles on it. Model 3121.
Changed oil Mobil 1 Synthetic and oil filter.
Rear tires were replaced two years and 4000 miles ago look great.
Mechanically , what suggestions do you have for long haul peace of mind. Brakes feel great , doesn’t wander on the freeway.
Your knowledge is appreciated.

First, if you have not yet been properly welcomed to the community then Welcome!
I would seriously consider changing all the tranny fluids and filters at 36K miles - or less. They are under stress every time the vehicle moves so consider their service as ultra-severe.

Welcome to the Forest River community. Good group of people on this forum.

Also, you may want to post in the Forester section of this forum for information and tips more specific to your unit. This is the Dynamax section.

Bleed / flush the braking system so you have nice clean dry fluid.
Often neglected, brake fluid will absorb moisture and cause internal corrosion.
You won't know you have a problem until you really have a problem.
Same goes for the cooling system. Fresh coolant will go a long way come the long step climbs of summer travel.

You've got the mechanical covered.
Now....Look on the roof and make certain all seams are caulked. Check for spiders or wasps in the roof a/c, all vents and refrigerator plus water heater vents.
Welcome to the FR community.
