"No Video" at rear camera?

I believe others have had this message on the Quadscreen of their 2020/21 Isata 5 coaches but my searches have turned up nothing like my problem.

For some months I got this message from one of the rear cameras at start up after no use for a few days. Usually within 5 minutes, functionality is restored. However today, no function for 30 minutes of driving and then it came on. Stopped for half an hour, switched the system off and the non function of just this one camera returned at start up.

Its the close in camera, without which its impossible to dock to a Hensley/Pro Pride hitch where the back up tolerance is less than 1/4".

Any suggestions/help, much appreciated.

I believe River Park has a software update...I think I posted the info a while back. As I was typing, figured I would try a seach.

BC, I have had work at dealer where they replaced the camera because 2 channels, including rear high wasn't working. Now, it only occasionally where the rear will jitter or more rarely I will get the No Video for a short time but it comes back. I was thinking it might be the cabling connection loose... do you think it might instead be a software update???

Thats what I was looking for - never showed up in my searches!!!

Anyway, I decided that it had to be the cable. Removed the cameras to find that during installation the complicated sealed cable connector had been stuffed behind the camera where the strain on the connector had partially pulled it out of the connector. Its 2 wires, one from each camera to a sealed connector and from there to a small plug-into-plug that has no retention clip. Relieving the strain/break and filling the fissure with hot glue; and taping the plugged connectors together, restored the camera.

Installer need to be careful with these wires. Also noted that there is grommet for the hole into which the cable is stuffed so that insects, water etc are free to enter the coach as the hole is much larger than the cable.
