Norco Accu Slide Out
question for bclemens:
Where is the motor located? and how do you get to it? in case you would
have to use the tool that was supplied to retract the slide out room? I can
not seem to locate how to access the motor.
thanks is advance.

On the BH, the motor is right below the partition that divides the bunks from the bedroom. You would need to pull that kick plate to access.
Their manual should be on your flash drive and they still send paper copies, so in the black file case. Lists process and tools.

Yes, I have seen the manual.
Hope that I will never have to do that, but now I know where the motor is located.
Thanks for your reply.

I do recall seeing that tool in the coaches we ship. I always thought someone left something in there till I realized that comes with the slide out. Never used cable slides in my previous life.

Heh I wondered what that extension was for. Figured it may come in handy eventually so I left it in the drawer...

sure...the kick plate is just that carpeted kick plate, not too exciting. A magnet would help you find the screws. Are you having issues now?
The motor is sort of hiding in the shadows...but its there.

Great pictures bclemens thanks for all of your help.
Not having problems, just wanted to know where the motor was located
and how to access it.
Had problems with the power gear slide motor #2 (over top of gen set)
boot that covers brake and motor end had water in it and it froze up the
break( think the water is wheel splash coming in from those openings at
the right side
of the generator compartment) had to manually over ride and bring it in by
hand.
Thanks again for your help
Joe

Thumb drive should have been on one of the key rings. Tool could be anywhere.

It was probably on the key ring that the second set of keys were on...the ones that the dealer lost as when I did my walk down they told me they only had one set of keys to give me because they couldn't find the other set.

Most likely. Someone stole the keys just to get the flash drive.
I'll mention something to engineering about the slide motors. I think I've seen a few references on this lately...but its odd because I haven't up until recently and we haven't changed anything.
