Outside tv jumps off the mount

Has anyone had a problem with the outside TV slipping off the mount on the outside TV? I have tried several things but again opened the door and had to catch the TV. This has a mount that slips into slots. Isata 4, 2018

might just need to add a locking screw so the bracket cannot move upwards.

I don’t think there is room to use a locking screw. Quick and easy fix is get a PAW International kit. $30 on Amazon (probably cheaper than the gas needed to go to a repair facility).

If the outside mount is the same as on my 17 I5 I replaced it with a small swing out / tilt mount. Now I can swing out the tv for better viewing.

Any chance of a photo of the mount?

Most of those mounts use the weight of the tv to hold/wedge them onto the bracket and you'd have to bounce pretty hard for it to come off the mount.

I don't have any pictures and I am away from the unit but the best description I could give you is there are prongs sticking out the back that slide into slots. There are 2 rows of 3. I seems to slide down good but still jumps off.

I don't have mounts like those shown, but my bedroom and OS kitchen just had screws thru the board on a swing hinge. Problem in both places was the TV was perfectly flat against wall. The TV angle was really had to watch and most TVs loose clarity looking up. Found some simple tilt mount brackets I installed that cost less than $10.00. What a difference with a better picture and cutting glare.

Im wondering how you get your camp chair to go sideways matching the speed of your camper down the highway while you watch the Television.

The new ones do. We started using pull out brackets sometime in the 2021 model year...not officially standard until 2022 MY. the exception is the 30FW as we did not have the depth.

Mine is the Series 4 with three tangs that are supposed to lock in. Not sure how it jumps off but thinking the crappy roads have something to do with it.
