This is probably a question for Brian or Greg but I wanted to post for everyone. I fitted my new coach door an itís ready for painting. My paint guy his good with the overall pint wondered If you had masks for purchase for the small pattens in the lower door.

yes and no. We don't get them in parts so we would have to get a whole side mask and cut that section out. Not the most cost effective unless someone else bought part and this part is still available.

Door on and now ready for paint. My paint guy assures me they do it without masks using airbrush in the intricate parts. Here’s hoping..........

Question for Brian. Should I talk to the parts department about the price of the paint mask.?My paint guy did a fantastic job of painting the door but now the insurance company is complaining about the hours spent on it. I wanted them to see the alternative cost of buying the mask and shipping it!
Thanks

Bob

yes....and just ask parts for the price of passenger side mask. The DX3 mask, I think is 2 or 3 stage.

So...I'd guess in the $2-$3k range.
