Precision Plex Generator light flashing

We recently replaced our precision plexus display in the wet bay. Generator light on the precision plex (buttons inside) has flashed since doing this. Light on generator itself is not flashing.

Could be by memory… but I thought the light would be solid after starting. Flashing was for when it was warming up and getting ready to start.

Also…. Noticed that since installing the new display the total Gen hours shows 0 on precision plex. Not sure if it is related.

Mine flashes prior to generator start. Once started, the light in the button goes steady lit. In our 2018 the Precision Plex monitor in the wet bay was replaced as well. Afterwards, the hour meter on the generator never matched the hours indicated on the Precision Plex. Just as you described, the new Precision Plex showed zero generator hours. Apparently, it cannot be set to match the actual hours on the generator, or, if it can, it never got done and I never pursued it.

Our new 2021 model doesn’t even have the panel in the wet bay. Probably because moisture was problematic for those monitors. I can get the same info via Bluetooth on my phone, so it’s not a big deal.

Have check all possible with the generator. Oil, coolant and output looks good. Wonder if it’s something with the Precision Plex. Digging into those manuals now.
