Probably a dumb question... but how do you turn off the fridge?
How do you turn off the fridge on an Isata 5? Frigidaire model FFHT1621TS1
Is there a physical on/off switch located somewhere?
Thanks in advance.

The easiest way to turn it off completely is to switch off the breaker. Residential RV fridges are generally on their own breaker.

Thanks! That worked. Apparently the TV is also on the same breaker.

On mine you just turn the temperature control all the way off.

I tried that. On this model, it still operates, just at a warmer temperature.

There’s usually a socket underneath the fridge or behind a cabinet. I just unplug mine when I don’t want it on.

We got an extension cord with an on/off switch and fed it through the grill on the bottom and plugged the fridge in. We can now turn in on and off easily.

On my dx3 the vent below the refrigerator is where it's plugged into AC I found a remote-controlled plug from Menards pluged the fridge into the remote control and plug that into the AC has a on off remote control key fob I keep it in the top drawer in the kitchen

On our Frigidaire there is a menu on the control panel on the front door that I use to turn it on and off and control other variables.

FWIW, I took a look at the manual in the thumb drive and it says.
Adjusting the refrigerator/freezer temperature
control to “0” turns off the compressor and
prevents the refrigerator from cooling, but
does not disconnect the power to the light
bulb and other electrical components. To
turn off power to your refrigerator, you must
unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
This is how ours works. The compressor is off, but if the door is open the light comes on.

On my Frigidaire:
Touch options on the control panel
Arrow down to power off.
Press and hold set until it shuts down.

The outlet for the refrigerator is behind the wooden grill below it. I bought one of these and use the remote to turn it off at night when we are boondocking to minimize generator starts. Works great!

Isn't actually consulting the manufacturer's manual considered cheating or unethical or something?

To be sure, I went to my DX3 in storage today to double check. When I turn off my fridge on the control panel, the fridge is off. Which was the OP's question. With the doors open, no lights come on. Fridge is off; I even have the rig plugged into to 20 amp circuit and I have the inverter turned off. When I open the fridge door, the panel illuminates the refrigerator Off light, so there is still power to it but it is off.
If the OP had asked how to pull all power from fridge, the only way would be to manually disconnect it from the power source. Which would eliminate any parasitic electrical draw, if that was his concern.
