Progress photos

Anybody out there that tracked the progress of their rig on the dynamax Facebook page know why they would not post a photo late in the build

They try to get a few photos for you every week. Sometimes the coach is being moved to another building or is out for a test drive and such so when they are walking about shooting photos they might not have been able to locate yours. What phase are you in? Paint is finished? Has it gone to final prep yet? When is the projected delivery date?

How do you find out where you are in line or in production. I have an idea of possible mid April completion

It's likely in the paint process and isn't available when they're taking pictures.

Have you been going to the Facebook page to see your photos? If the factory has your name on a unit, they'll take progress photos every Friday and post them to the Dynamax Facebook page.

My pictures slowed down after leaving the production line. QA happens in a separate building. My guess is it’s just a matter of convenience for the guy that takes pics (who also works in the main production facility. If you want a picture, email gareth at Dynamax-sales@forestriverinc.com.

This was our Isata 5 last year at the factory, first picture was on March 23, inside, note the cab steps and the entry door grab handle were not yet installed. At this point it is in final assembly, finish work on the outside and as they told me, more work on the inside along with testing. The second picture was a week later on March 30, outside, ready for shipment. It arrived at the dealer for delivery on April 4th. Yours is very close, it will be worth the wait!

Then it's probably just waiting on a shipper. Business is good in Elkhart and when it is there is a shortage of labor. One of their biggest shortages is shipping company personnel. If you have a dually truck you can get a job tomorrow delivering trailers and 5th wheels. And if you have a CDL you can deliver motorhomes. When you coach is finished I think they notify the shipper that it's ready, then it's really up to the shipper to come get it. Have you talked with your dealer? That's who should be tracking it now. Mine waited in the shipping row a few days and I could get no info on it at all and then suddenly it showed up here in San Diego.

I think I found my retirement job. I knew it would be worth it to renew that CDL for v30 years "just in case"...

But seriously... As we drove our camper through Indiana today and kept passing all the transporters pulling new units, I kept wondering what they get paid. Anybody know?
