Promaster Chassis - Driver Side Toggle Switch

Hello. We're learning all sorts of things about our new(ish) Dynamax REV 24rb. We recently discovered a toggle (rocker) switch on the driver's side of the cab, lower left side of the dash. We cannot figure out what the switch does. No mention is made of the switch in the Ram Promaster Manual. Does anyone know what this switch does??? Many thanks!

Does the switch say OPT on it? My DX3 has one that says that (your's may be different) but it was in case you added an accessory.

It's pre-wired to where the fuses and most of the electrical components under the belly. It saves you from doing extra wiring. I used mine for my LED lights.

It is the emergency battery switch. Pushing and holding it in will connect the house batteries to the engine battery. Use it if your engine battery is depleted.

You would think they would put battery boost or something on the switch...

It’s not marked on my 2017 Isata 3rw either.

you would think...

I did have them develop a sticker for them now. The switches used to have a little battery icon on them.
