Purpose of these brackets on newer Isata 3 FW?

Snapped a pic of these heavy duty steel brackets on the underside of the full wall slide on an Isata 3 FW at the Tampa RV show last weekend. There are more than one and are mounted between the slide rollers. There are corresponding brackets mounted on bottom outer edge of the slide so that when the slide is closed the two halves "mate".

Would like to know the reason these have been added as the earlier models like mine do not have them.

Seat belt bracket. It connects the slide floor to the main structure. It locks with a similar one on the slide. We accomplished it a different way on the earlier models.

Since the earlier models don't appear to lock the slide floor to the main structure are there any safety concerns regarding the seatbelt tie downs? The tie downs on mine only appear to be connected to the slide floor.

No, with the slide in you are fine. We added options (sofa, U-shape, etc) that end up adding seat belt positions in some cases. In doing so, this increased the weight we had to test to, so we did the brackets as a precaution. The early models did not have or need this.
