Question on slide damage

Hello from Lebanon, Tn
Hi everyone we have a 2015 Dynamax DX3. We were camping this weekend and our slide controller got water down in it and came in on its own. Im awake now wondering if it damaged anything ? Thanks for the ad to such a great forum.

Same thing happened to me. Water came thru the foam insulation and tracked down into the slide controller. Slide was stuck out at a rest stop. I took the controller off and rinsed off the dirty road salt water, dried it with hair dryer (on cool), and put it back on.
Has worked fine for over a year. I did buy a replacement controller just to have but I'm still using the original one.
I raised the placement of the controller so if water does come thru the same way, it would not get in the controller.

I've added a "kill" solenoid in the power lines to the slide control panels in the electric bay. Also a remote switch next to the controllers in the interior electrical stack that controls the solenoid.
Theory is if no 12v nothing can move.

so far has worked flawlessly for nearly a year now.
