Rear View Camera—horizon view

In my Dynamax Isata 5 36DS, the camera images appear in rear view mirror for left/right turns and rear view. I only see a “hitch view” behind—is there a way to switch to “horizon view?” Or do I have to manually adjust the rear camera up to get a higher view?

I don’t think the system had horizon view in 2018.

You should two cameras in the back – one set at horizon view and the other set at hitch view. If you only have one camera you will only get one view and will have decide which you view prefer and adjust accordingly.

The in-dash Sony has a video input at the back. My husband was able to wire the cameras to the Sony. It’s so much easier to see what’s going on around you than that little picture in the mirror. We keep the display to the rear camera most all the time.

I may be out of my lane here and I apologize in advance as I don't own an Isata 5. On the Isata 3 the one rear camera must be manually adjusted upward to afford the rear view normally associated with a car rear view mirror. By doing so you see the oncoming traffic coming from behind that may be outside the views of your blind side and side mirrors. The adjustment takes all of 3 minutes. Backing into sites I fortunately rely on my better half as well as side mirrors to accomplish that chore without having the camera tracking close to my backing. The audio can still be used however. It works for us but may not be advisable for others.
