Recall on Ram 5500 Chassis Cab

Just received a notice that my 2017 Jeep Cherokee is being recalled for a cruise control issue, in the notice it also stated that all 2014 thru 2018 Ram 550 Chassis Cabs are included in this recall. Supposedly the cruise will not turn off when the vehicle is accelerating uphill when the cruise in on even if the brake pedal is pushed to stop the cruise control. There is suppose to be a software update that will fix this issue.

This morning there was an update to this recall. It only affects vehicles with gasoline engines and automatic transmissions. So it appears all of us who have the the Dynamax with the Dodge/Ram 5500 chassis aren't affected. Good news.
