Recovering front seats Force M2 106

Problem: the all to common, crappy China vinyl leatherette failure on furniture. Have some covers for front seats to recover them. Can't figure out how to remove armrests which this cover requires.

Question: How to remove armrest? Examples I've found on Youtube don't seem to work on this type of chair. Anyone removed armrests before on driver/passenger seats., Thanks

I have a 2016 Force M2 106. My armrest comes off as follows. Rotate the armrest backwards like the pic. You may have to push in or out a little.

Last pic is the hole in the seat side. it is keyed about 5 O'clock.

Great information, thanks. Did make some progress from your instruction, but mine will not move past about 3 o'clock or pull out. Do get a fair amount of movement in/out so think it just will require more finessing.

I would try pushing in to turn and after looking closer at the pic maybe the key is closer to 4 O'clock. mine felt bound. I bet a drop of lubricant might help it move smoother so you can feel the position better.

I found a video of exactly how my arm rest comes off. He does it a few times and easier than mine, I am going to go oil mine. Good Luck.

I have the same issue- seat coverings (driver and passenger) are falling apart. Can I ask where you ordered your new seat covers? I've searched but can't find reliable replacements. Thanks.

Replacement seat covers

HI Joe, My 2018 DX3 seat covers are also starting to deteriorate and would like to know where you purchased your seat covers.
Thanks
Walt
