Here are a few. Heavy gauge galvanized strut and 3/8” all thread. I cut/knotched the outside ends and drove them in between the bin and the coach frame. That’s definitely the weakest part of the setup, but the strut is super stout and it’s only knotched an inch and a half or so.
Again, all credit for this goes to houstonstroker...I stole the idea from him.
Sorry for the derail, FOURWHL.

No worries at all! Good to have different options all in one thread I think

Very nice and neat job Mookie. Well done and sorry 4WHL I guess that was my fault for derailing your thread.

I like the idea of having the tie downs in there. And, someone else did it already, but I think it would help a bunch to relocate those door struts to the top so you don't have to lift heavy stuff like BBQ's over them.

My older Dynaquest has one 1" steel strap that runs along the bottom from front to back. I didn't really notice it until we had a blowout last summer that broke the storage compartment. The body shop repaired the compartment but left the strap loose and I noticed a lot of flex in the bottom while loading it for the next trip. The metal strap has a rubber "gasket" between it and the bin and the ends are attached to the frame above the front and back end. I realized why they left it loose when I went to tighten it up. The fasteners are covered with spray foam and in a difficult area to access. I decided to cut the strap in the middle and put a turnbuckle on it to tighten it back up. Its been a year and it seems to be holding up well. I dont know if the DX3 has a good place to mount a strap on the front and back ends or not, but thought I would share another idea on how to reinforce a storage bin.

Braces for DX3 Bin fore compartment of Gen.
I used a welded frame braced under the compartment before Generator. This now holds four additional golf cart batteries.

I did the same as mookieblaylock though I drilled down through the front of the mental compartment and anchor them with 3/8 bolts, they hold a good bit of weight.

Good job, mine sagged in one or two of them and I was going to reinforce it too but I like your solution.
