Remote Baggage Doors 2017 Dynaquest

The remote stopped working for my baggage doors on my 2017 Dynaquest. Usually it is just a battery replacement. This time that didnt work. Where is the actuator located for this system. Also this is suppose to be a Avital system. I don't see any RV products on there web site.I need a second remote.

As I recall it is supposed to be in a black box or something mounted around the electrical bay...driver side up front. I don't think it is in the battery bay...but one of those two should have it.

Not sure why they would show "RV Products"...Avital makes automotive parts, nothing different on an RV. Just a signal that locks or unlocks.

Would this be the remote bay door controller? My remote bay doors stopped working suddenly. I can't find any other black box in the electric or battery bay. This assembly has an antenna wire on it. So it is a controller to something. The brand name on the board is Active Technologies.

I believe that is it. We used to use the Trimark version a while back (which is what you show), but we changed to the Avital version.

Is the avital version plug and play with the Trimark? Or would the door relays have to be switched out as well?

Not that I am aware of. I think you would be better off just replacing the Trimark or figuring out what the issue is. I doubt it would show anything major, but i know I was able to save some money on a "pool chlorine generator" when there was a capacitor that had clearly given up the ghost...even to my rookie eyes.

Either a new board at $700....or a $2 capacitor and 5 minutes of soldering (4 minutes to heat up and one minute for a very poor solder job). But it worked.
