Residential RV tension rods??

What if any tension rods or similar devices are you using in the factory residential refrigerator to keep things from flying around? 2021 Dynamax 30 FW.

Tension Rods

We've had success with simple spring loaded curtain rods....$2 curtain rods vs $10 "Refrigerator tension rods" at the local camper store.

We found some clear trays to organize cabinets with. Work great for the fridge and helps to load it for trips too.

Tried the rods, but the trays worked better. The few things that fall in the tray over dont fall out when you open doors, so for us the work.

We have been traveling all year without any tension rods in the fridge and no issues with items falling out when we open the door. We do have a fridge door lock which came on our residential Frigidaire refrigerator.

We had an Isata 3 for three years before the Isata 5 with a two way fridge and never used any retaining rods in that fridge either.

I guess I am a crazy driver. I used them in out TT fridge.
Wrt the door lock on the Frigidaire, I thought I read somewhere that it was a problem and folks replaced the stock one?

No problem with the stock fridge lock. Maybe TT bounce more than a 19,000 lb RV. It hasnít been a problem for me.

Never had an issue with Isata 3, Isata 5 (9 RV and 16 residential), Force HD (16 cf) or Dynaquest XL (22 cf)
