I don’t know how hard it is to get to your valve. If you can get to it, and if you can disconnect the cable from it, go ahead and disconnect the cable. Then move the valve between open and closed using your hand to ensure that it moves and closes freely. It amazing how smooth they are. If all this works ok then take a look at how the cable is installed and routed. The straighter the cable is the better.

Empty black tank

Right now I have time to make sure the black tank is VERY clean!

We'll look at both cables since both are difficult, but just the black tank has refused to close.

Checking cables now on list!

Steve- looking at the replacements now- so the cables on the replacement are the longer cables, not the shorties?
