Select comfort bed

Has anyone replaced there stock bed with a select comfort queen size bed?
It would be 6 “ narrower and 5” longer. Right now the slide puts the existing bed up against the opposite wall. Deflation of the bed might reduce the pressure. Any ideas? Ours is a 2018 37 ts. Thanks

Select comfort makes an RV size mattress if you don’t have a residential size now.

Hope this helps Tim

We did that in our popup trailer to replace that 3" thick foam pad they called a bed. It was great. We might still use it in our 2608BS, just haven't opened the popup to get it out and try it. I set up an inverter for it in the popup and it worked great.
It was very comfortable. We have had one in our home as well for maybe 25 years. Love it...

One caution with the select comfort air chambers is with altitude changes in mountains. The atmospheric presser changes can over pressies the air chambers of the bed and damage it. Had this happen when we were camping at summit lake on the Alcan highway on the way back from Alaska with our 18 year old bed.

Hope This Helps Tim

I never thought of that but since you mentioned it, it seems fairly obvious. We've had a Sleep Number at home for over 20 years and were seriously thinking of getting one for the upcoming season in the 37TS. Thanks again.

Bought one

Ok, they make an rv Queen, it is 60”x 75, the foam junk in our 2018 ts is 66x 75”. A 3 inch loss on each side doesn’t concern us but the length is the important number. It cost just over $1,200 and that includes the $78 shipping charge. Smart people , they only have a store front, no inventory, make you pay for factory direct shipping !
It will come ups in about two weeks. I already wired in a new 110 outlet under the bed frame where the 110 runs to the side shelves on either side of the bed. This new bed comes with a wireless remote and does not come with the intrusive sensors that monitor every bit of your personal data thru wifi.!!! They do not have fitted sheets for this size. We order ours from Tall Paul’s Mall on line. They have access to a manufacturer that makes any size. This is our 4 th select comfort bed two of which were in previous class A coaches so we are aware of the pressure problems while traveling but thanks for those replies. Looking forward to a decent night sleep, if we lived in it full time this would have been done on day one!
Thanks for the replies and safe travels.

We have a sleep number in ours and we love it. We use to have a night of adjustment from home to RV but not any more since they are both the same now.
