Selling a dx3

I see many threads and posts on this forum on buying a Dynamax, but none on selling a Dynamax. As I am about to retire from traveling the country in a motorhome, most recently in a 2016 DX3, are there any suggestions or discussions on selling it?

Since you've read many threads and posts here, about selling a RV, you must have seen the Forest River Classifieds website mentioned:

Yes, RV Trader works well. I suspect it works better for buying than selling, the reason for my post.

Two reasons for buying user-to-user are:
1. Split the profit that would otherwise go to an intermediary dealer, and
2. Learn from the seller what the buyer needs to know to operate the motorhome.

On the other hand, selling through a dealer might provide:
1. Protection from scams, and
2. Convenience

I agree. If you can afford to take the loss of $$$$ and want to get the deal done fast, dealer is Definatly the way to go. I have gone this route several times.

If you aren’t in a rush and want to make more $$$ private is the way.

A few years ago A friend of mine started working at a RV dealer. When I found out what they make on a trade in, I was blown away. Not to give away any secrets but dealers make WAY WAY more selling a used coach than a new one. WAY MORE!!!
