Sewer hose container

I had a surprise the other day when I opened my sewer hose door. I opened it and all that was there was daylight. The hose and tube were gone. Anyone else have this happen? I hope there wasn’t anyone behind me when it departed.

I lost one of the connectors, but luckily the hose was still there. At that point, I started using a carabiner in the locking hole as intended [emoji15]

We use a tote and store it in the front garage. Carry the tote to the connection, less handling. When were home for any period of time and/or two or three times a year we bleach out all the equipment.

I liked having that storage tube to keep a short hose to use at dump stations. The hose that came with the coach was perfect for that. BC have you run into this problem?

I extended mine and zip tied it in place so I could put my long sewer hose in compartment

Good idea. I keep my long ones in a large tote along with adaptors, chemicals and other accessories for dumping and clean up.

Considering it was likely ripped off via road damage, I would say not. If you are in the neighborhood...swing by and grab one. (If we still carry them). I'd like to get rid of them an move to something better.

Sounds good. I think I’ll wait for the something better.

Looks good, great use of wasted space.

We would have done that but the diameter of the built-in compartment is too small for our Camco Rhino Hose & elbow and we didn't feel like modifying it. So we went the fence post route. Works well, but would rather have used the built-in compartment. Wished it was designed to hold a sewer hose & elbow.
